So I read that Thaiday has been ruled out of origin two and three and Parker will replace him, it will have a bigger effect on the Broncos than it will on Queensland IMO

Only a bit to go to origin II starts...looks like a wet track, NSW may go in favourites with those conditions me thinks
Well, well, well isn't NSW playing well tonight I'm really enjoying the closeness of the game...Im expecting Dave Taylor to have a big one in the second half

Well I'll be damned that was one of the closest origins I've seen both teams could hold equal claim to the win...but well done to NSW...I just have to get a lot of **** now at work for Queensland losing...

In the wash up of the game comes the cold hard reality of Queensland having to make some changes. First of, Ashley Harrison has to go after missing that easy tackle on Carney which led to his try and just his general average footy...replaced by Dallas Johnson. Parker out simply to old and not up to origin standard any more replaced by Mick Crocker someone who has got that passion for Queensland. Petero shouldn't get his fairytale swangsong if it means Queensland are putting out a second rate team, Hannant in the run on team for me. A young development player would do better than old Petero...

Thurston didn't get any time because of NSW forwards and Todd Carney! Can't belive Phil Gould said he applauded Cooper Cronks tackle on Carney which had him binned. He said it was the right thing to do, What a mong and what a fantastic piece of commentry to play to the youngsters. I still expect QLD to runaway with game 3 at Suncorp! P.S. Why do they put expectations on players like they did through the week with Coal train, and how he was going to destroy NSW and it was his time to rule. Fair dinkum, more like Thomas the Tank. Stick to footy DT and forget the headlines!

As sad as it may sound Phil Gould was right, tactically speaking, that the tackle from Cronk just had to be made...sort of like a defender in soccer getting a yellow card for deliberately tripping the striker if they were deadset going to score...taking one for the team. But I think it may be time to drop the pessimism about your chances Hamish as NSW are in for a huge chance for game 3 especially if Queensland keep the same which they probably will... As for DT...shouldn't have dropped the footy at that critical stage late in the game but still his form still warrants a run on spot.

Pessimism NSW will get close if they go into G3 with the same intensity and no mistakes!

God I'm glad I was at the game, the atmosphere was AMAZING. Well done to the blues.
Bring on game three. Hopefully the best team wins, and it's another close on the edge of your seat match.

Huge mistake in playing Boyd at full-back...surely GI has to play there given how well he is going...switch Boyd to the wing while Tate can play in the centres as he has been doing for the cows. I like Queensland forwards and bench though.
Still NSW will take great confidence and monentum into the game...so it should be a beauty.
