Has umpire Hill got any decisions right this match?

****ing dar - if a batsman shoulders arms and the ball hits them in front like it did for Bresnan and it's likely to hit the stumps (which the replay shows it did), it is an automatic out, surely About time we got one through Bell's defence - tough ball to face though. Good reward for Harris How good is Harris bowling - another one bowled. On a hatrick now ;D

It is strange to watch Cook at first slip. I don't think I have ever seen a slipper crouch as far down like that as the bowler delivers.

If we can finish the day with Clarke and Warner still in, We might be a chance.

Haddin victim of another terrible umpiring decision - i'm going to bed. Good luck the rest of the batsmen especially with these pro England umpires

Piss poor batting yet again let us down! To lose 9 wicket's for 70 odd is terrible What do you do? Our batsmen are incredibly inconsistent. You drop them from the team, they then score some first class runs and then they can't convert that form into international runs. It's getting to a point where really we just have to stick by them and just hope that they are able to score runs when they go out there to bat. No longer are we that consistent 400 run first innings team, I think we need to lower our expectations to 300-350 and back to when it was in the early to mid 90s where a team should aim for 300 to give themselves a good shot at winning the test match.

Agree with that Bundy, Boof need's to settle the team line up, And then start working on them getting there confidence back.

Faulkner in for Khawaja - Watson moves to 1st drop and Haddin I think will bat 6th.
Not a bad option I reckon as you will probably get as many runs from Faulkner that you would for Khawaja atm, plus he's that extra bowling option. Three right arm pace, 2 left arm pace and a spinner is a good balance IMO. Also, could be a very flat deck at the Oval.

This test is looking like a bit of a fizzer for a result at this stage, Although good bit of sledging between Clarke and Peterson just before tea.

Anyone watch the t20 last night? How well did Finch play - after all those failed starts for the Aussies last summer after an impressive big bash he is starting to show the potential that we all knew he had.
On the bowling side of things, I thought Johnson recovered well from a poor start going for 17 off his first over but Hazlewood struggled despite getting 2 wickets as he blew it all at the end by bowling too short. And Ahmed, the leg spinner, bowled not too bad. Similar to Mustaq Ahmad sort of bowler back in the day with the high arm action. He'll be better for the experience.
Next game is tomorrow night I believe.
