Not sure whether you blokes are interested but I'll watch it from time to time over the next couple of weeks leading into when the ashes begin.
Good win from Hewitt last night over Federer's warm-up hitting buddy. It was a surprisingly easy win for him too so lets hope he can continue on with this form.

I reckon this will be a tough game for Tomic - it is already shaping up that way. Querrey has a massive serve and big ground strokes...if Tomic is going to use this tactic of slow ground strokes to draw a mistake fro Querrey he needs to make sure that he actually gets them into play! I don't think it's a good tactic either - Tomic I reckon needs to get this big american on the run through hitting harder ground shots. Good win for sam though

Well Tomic pulled that match out of the bag.
I thought he was gone for sure in the 5th having let slip that 2 sets to nil lead.
He should take plenty from how he won it too - started to play more aggressive in the final set rather than the soft, passive play he was showing in the 3rd and 4th sets.

Tomic is a far better player when he plays aggressively Wrighty you know better than most of us but why doesn't he play more aggressive? There is no question he can hit a heavy ball off both sides but there are many occasions where he hits the aggressive shot and then follows it up with a conservative shot even when his opponent looks in trouble. I don't know why he just doesn't do a 1, 2 on them and finish off the point with two aggressive shots... He still lacks the move-ability around the courts of the top 10 players so this may explain him not wanting to hit two aggressive shots in a row as the way that modern players seem to get the ball back just as quickly as it was hit to them Tomic may not want to be put out of position and on the stretch where he may be prone to his opponent hitting the next ball as a winner... On another note, in the press conference after, Tomic's main concern wasn't his health problems that he appeared to be suffering from in the 3rd and 4th sets but for his father to be allowed to sit court side to watch him play. This situation has arisen because Wimbledon officials have enforced an ATP 12 month ban on his father being able to do this. I think the ban should stay as what the father did to Tomic's hitting partner is despicable but in saying that I think the ATP have got to be careful when it comes to making these sorts of decisions considering Tomic's concerns that procedural fairness was not afforded to his father.

Hewitt looked well out of his depth tonight against someone who played exceptionally well considering his ranking. It might be time for Hewitt to consider that full-time commentator role

Tomic is a far better player when he plays aggressively Wrighty you know better than most of us but why doesn't he play more aggressive? Mate I don't know. i think it's more mental and he has lapses in matches where he goes walkabout and switches off. He still needs to work harder off the court and this stuff with the old man can't be helping. Can't believe Fed lost. I think he might be done

He still needs to work harder off the court and this stuff with the old man can't be helping. It seems to me that he's been at this constant level of performance for the last 2-3 years and he hasn't really lifted his game too much. I think his serve is better but still nowhere it could be given his height. He might benefit from an off-season in a gym with an AFL team to build up his strength But it's the lack of mobility around the court I feel really hampers his baseline game. The mental element is sort of the thing that binds all his talent together so if that isn't on song he does tend to struggle.

Excellent win from Tomic.
Served well and his, at times, over kill on his sliced backhand didn't really hurt him in the end.

Anyone else think it is going to be an epic final between Murray and the Joker if the Joker's semi was anything to go by?

I'll go Murray in 5. I reckon he will be a touch more fresher to be able to win the final set.
