Great shootout today, Plenty of close shaves. I reckon JC would be taking that 5th place and running, It was probably the most untidy lap out of all the runner's and he still got P5, Good stuff. Look's like funny man Reynold's is having a dummy spit, He does have a point about the timing of the top ten shootout, But on the other hand if he had of done a better job yesterday, He would have been the one with the advantage. www.speedcafe.com/2013/10/12/reynolds-fuming-shootout-timing/

No disagreements here. It was a great shootout! I thought Van Giz had got pole with that unbelievable lap but then Bright followed by Winterbottom beat it and then finally JW with a superb lap. It was interesting seeing JW in his warm up lap have Frosty come up behind him on McPhilliamy after Frosty had pipped Brighty with the fastest lap - nearly intentionally slowing up to make it an even greater spectacle and achievement that lap JW was to do - "I see that Frosty has set the marker and now it's time for me to beat it" JC did pretty well tbh - he just got ahead of Lowndes but that is all he had to do. I also thought McLaughlin did a good job without knowing how good the following cars in the top 10 would go. As for Davey Reynolds - somebody should tell him being quickest in the final practice session doesn't count for anything when he couldn't replicate it in qualifying

Bad start for Frosty and Reynolds. Great start for Dumbrell!!
GT's on the march atm!
I hope Mclaughlin can get around Murph soon as the FPR cars are coming up quick.
Justified penalty for the #17 - it's in the rules book.

I'm surprised Lowndesy hasn't got past Owen yet - thought for sure he would get it done in the first couple of laps after the last pit stop.
The Xbox car doing an awesome job. Percat's struggling - don't really know why given GT was quick in his stint.
Jack driving well despite getting caught behind the VIP petfoods car and the #12 for awhile there.
JW is smoking them atm

I think Percat is taking it extra careful this year TBH.

Murph into the wall!! Shame for JC - $13 seems about right now Disappointed in Murph today - he hasn't performed all that well and if he doesn't do better at the GC I can't see HRT welcoming him back; maybe with Slade only. Who would have thought Richo would be faster than Frosty today - maybe he's throwing his hat into the ring to get his full time seat back if Willy D leaves

Murph was slow and then binned it.
Not a happy day for him.

Could it finally be a Frosty win?

Could it finally be a Frosty win? Don't think so - JW looks to be sizing him up for a pass in this stint or the next. I got to say apart from the two Xbox drivers and maybe Richo, GT has been the best driver out there. Hopefully Percat doesn't have to step back in and there is a SC to enable a possible podium.

Scott Pye and Paul Morris are bolters to a possible podium - good driving from Morris - can't believe I am actually saying that!! Lowndes only chance to win it is if the weather starts coming. The # 33 is going backwards
