Just caught the tail end of the game between Aust v Wales Rugby Yawnion match. Aussies won on fulltime with a penalty kick, but I cannot make head nor tail of the rules in that game!

I gave up trying to watch union years ago...give me league, football, afl over union any day
I get the rules but **** it's boring...I mean every time they get a penalty and its within 50 m they go for the penalty kick...I mean tries should be awarded 10 points to encourage them to go for them instead of the ****ing penalty kick...

Just can't understand why they don't run with it more! Every time it comes out of a scrum they kick it. For god sake back yourself a bit!

Good to see the Aussies win!
Pretty close in the end...when Berrick barnes was pulling up sore I thought, "no!!!! here we go again"
We won alot of Rucks and Mauls, Which set it up for us in the end...7/8 penalties kicks.

I was just doing a bit of thinking...cause I did watch a bit of union as you do when you're living over in England and Ireland last year but does anyone else read much into how the country is split right down the middle in terms of their following of union and league that the south of England supports Rugby while the north of England is where the heart of league really is? It could also come down to a wealth and affluency thing in that the south is seen to be more prosperous than the North and therefore, rugby is seen as more of the game for the 1st class. I mean certainly one could say that rich schools here tend to play rugby ahead of league in both Queensland and New South Wales...i don't know
