Haha, saw that aswell, actually it's the first add I've seen of a ford for yonks and it was an add of the FPV not FORD ad. Looks like FPV are doing more work then Ford atm
They seriously are shocking adds.

Greatest ever driver is just crap.!!
It seems since FPV got rid of the latest MD and cut jobs , That the new management has stepped up there advertising , I noticed more FPV Ads about 2 weeks ago here in Adelaide.
Pity they are so far from the truth.

It's a blight on the legacy of the true legend Brocky to have a driver that he beat on countless occasions to be named, in effect, 'greater' than him. Just more b/s PR from Ford who really have no idea in executing an effective marketing campaign that they have to resort to making misleading contentions!

I found that ad interesting. To me it looked like it was highlighting GTs through the ages, but why was there an XC Cobra in there? An XC Cobra isn't a GT. Stupid Ford/FPV marketing can't even get their own history right. They even put in that stupid BF GT "Cobra" sticker pack edition. As for Moffat being the greatest driver while it's subjective of course an FPV ad would make that claim just as a HSV ad would with Brock if he was still alive. It's all subjective even if I disagree. Still not a bad ad, but the HSV one from a while back with Tander in the HRT VE morphing into the GTS takes the cake.

Maybe they mumbled the bit about him being born in Canada? What a joke!
Almost as funny as the XC Cobra on its skinny tyres!

We all know who Australia's greatest racing legend was and if this is the best FPV can do I say let them roll around in their own bull****. Then again I guess they need to do something bold, HSV are outselling them at more than 3 to 1.
Ford and Tickford and FPV until recently didn't give a stuff about Moffat. It's only in the past couple of years that they've suddenly woken up and embraced the fact that Moff is a direct link to the glory days of the original GT's and he was just sitting around twiddling his thumbs and doing tyre ads.
But Australia's greatest racing legend???
Seems desperation will make them claim almost anything over at the blue oval...
There will only ever be one King of the Mountain. The greatest of them all....and that ain't Moffat ! ! ! !

I think it's a good marketing move to get him involved to be honest but it's just that it has come too late...the ship has sailed for the falcon and the fpv versions of it.

Allan Moffat is a legend.
Not Australia's greatest racing legend. Having said that he wouldn't be far off though.

Allan Moffat is a legend, a motoracing legend and a legend of Australian Touring Cars. But to stipulate that he is Australia's greatest is a little over the top! Any of the drivers that done great things in that era were legends to me, Brock obviously, Johnson, Morris, Geoghan, Goss, Grice, Richards etc etc just for the fact of the way they threw those cars around which were nowhere near what they are driving today! On a side note: Wonder how Dick felt about Moffat getting that gig and not him?
