Luke Nolan the jockey underestimated the ground, she just slowed up when she put about 1- 1/2 lengths on the others, then he held up, and they almost caught the win, very close.

Retire unbeaten!
I got up and watched live this morning and even though Luke Nolan eased the horse up, to me he looked like he was plodding a bit in the going.
Even though Nolans ride was ordinary, it is still a credit to him and his trainer that they have never put the boot into the horse to get it home!
Retire now and be an unbeaten champion of the turf!

They should just retire the horse anyway, what more do they want? The record speaks: Black Caviar: 21 wins 0 losses! Champion of the modern era! And anyone who wants to keep hanging on the Jockey, it's done, he won!
