Mundine has a big fight coming up in Vegas in July against Bronco McKart which may clear the path for a fight against Floyd Mayweather...lets see if this 'mending of broken fences' with Fenech helps Mundine achieve this.

THE last man you would expect to see climbing the stairs to the Tony Mundine gym in Redfern on a midweek afternoon is long-time enemy Jeff Fenech.
Anthony Mundine is less than a month away from his fight debut in the US and has called in Australia's greatest fighter. The fact they have been bitter rivals for so many years doesn't matter.
Mundine is determined to thump Bronco McKart on July 14 in Las Vegas and make a big enough noise to achieve his dream of fighting the great Floyd Mayweather.
Fenech is prepared to set old rivalries aside to help.
Incredibly, Fenech is the man once banned from even attending Mundine fights.
Anthony's father, Tony, once said: "If Jeff Fenech attempts to come to my boy's fight, I will ensure that some of my henchmen march him straight out the door. Jeff, you are not welcome, nor is anyone associated with you, and if my heavies don't take care of you, I certainly will."
On Thursday, the pair caught up for a session at Mundine gym.
Mundine's dad and trainer, Tony, watched from the edge of the ring as Fenech, a former three-division world champion, put his son through a sharp 15-minute session.
"So what if we had a blue in the past . ... big deal," Tony said. "Jeff's been willing to come and help, and in this game we learn every day. We're working together to help my son fulfil a dream. I'm happy to step back if Jeff can help."
Anthony Mundine recently asked Fenech for his assistance because he's the Australian fighter so well connected in the US. He knows Las Vegas better than anyone.
"I called him to get another opinion; we don't know it all," Mundine said.
"With Jeff, you listen, you take it on board and at least it's in your head.
"It's good for me. He's talking to me about my balance and my punching."
This is the same Fenech who once said of Mundine: "His idol is Muhammad Ali, but all they have in common is the big mouth."
But with a couple of mates at his side, Fenech marched into the gym, shook hands with Anthony and his father and then got started. Such was the chemistry, you couldn't believe there had been a problem in the past between the pair.
I asked Fenech if Mundine's dream of a fight with Mayweather was a genuine goal.
"If that's what's in his head, good luck to him," Fenech said. "He's got to smash this guy (McKart), and Choc being Choc, he'll make some noise.
"I've always thought he's the most talented kid I have ever seen.
"I'd hate to be on the end of one of his punches if he can make it perfect.
"With his eye and his speed he can beat anybody.
"He's just gifted.
"I'd love to see him prove everyone wrong."
