Lofton wins pole at Chicagoland: Justin Lofton, driving the #7-Lofton Cattle Chevrolet for Eddie Sharp Racing, was the fastest qualifer with a top speed of 174.154 mph to win the Keystone Light Pole for the American Ethanol 225 at Chicagoland Speedway. This is Lofton's first series pole. #22-Joey Coulter was second. Rounding out the top ten were; #3-Ty Dillon, #17-Timothy Peters, #18-Jason Leffler, #2-Brendan Gaughan, #11-Todd Bodine, #33-Cale Gale, #88-Matt Crafton, #32-Miguel Paludo. Did not qualify: #74-Mike Harmon, #65-Chris Lafferty. Note: The following trucks will start from the rear of the field; #17-Timothy Peters & #29-Parker Kligerman due to engine changes; #13-Johnny Sauter late to drivers meeting.
