Yep that falling out with clarke appears to have hurt his career, But it will make his warts and all book worth buying ;D

And its not over yet as he is still playing in England, got the 20/20 Champions League for Perth in October and will probably play in the big bash at the end of this year as well. Interesting Steve Waugh was saying in something that I read on cricket365 that on his statistics alone he shouldn't have been dropped from the test team but it was the off the field politics that he ran foul of that did his international career in.

Heard/Read the same thing from S Waugh, Nothing worse than politics getting involved in sports.
Its good to see he is completing his contracts, Before he fully retires to spend time with his family.

Always found it ridiculous that he was left out of the Aus team when we were struggling for opening bats. Politics plays a part in everything!
