I know we don't take much interest in rally and I certainly haven't for a couple of years but this is pretty big news in that Toyota are finalising plans to re-enter the WRC championship. Toyota say it is going to be much harder as they don't have the same old rallying personnel with the 'know how' but they just need to develop and build the engines and ensure that they meet group A homologations. www.speedcafe.com/2012/06/21/toyota-looks-world-rally-return-2014/

Haven't watched much rally, only when it's in Australia or on SPEED which is usually crap anyhow... Only support Subaru and Colin McRae RIP. Loves those days

Spent a good couple of days late last year while I was in Ireland just watching the highlights of all the series' rounds from about 1990 onwards on youtube up until about the days of McRae dominating for Subaru and then driving for Ford (around 2000)...just brilliant motorsport entertainment...and yep as for the reason why I did and didn't go out exploring, there just isn't much to do over there when it's about freezing ;D

Used to be into rallying but my support slowly diminished as the manufacturers left. Sounds like things lately have been on the up for WRC First Mini, then Volkswagen and now Toyota! Cant wait!
