Any of you boys give a rats about this?
I love it and I'm currently here...
In the Heineken bar.
Should be a great event though.

Yeah I'll watch it when I can especially when the aussies are playing.
Hewitt is on tonight. Let's see if he is actually playing better.

Not much into women's tennis (unless they're hot or Australian ) because it lacks the competitive instinct I have found. Good luck to Hewitt. Hope he has an easy win and really takes it to his opponent tonight.

Shame tonight for Hewitt. His defence game just wasn't up to it - when he looked to up his game he was matched. He Just was not explosive enough off the baseline. I can't see him continuing on beyond this year.

Hewitt never gives up, His first serve's tonight were shocking, he is pretty much finished from a top ten ranking IMO, But the lucky bastard gets to go home with Bec every night, So he should just think himself very lucky Let's hope Tomic and Stosur can deliver from here on out.

Seems like Stosur didn't learn too much from Sydney as she was beaten by the same player today!! I don't understand how she can play so well in the US on their hard courts and terrible here She plays well on clay but not so well on grass so you would think that as she would prefer the slower court she would do well in Australia as the hard courts are reportedly slower here than in the US...but obviously not

Stosur should just skip the Aus open Great win by Tomic, Brands really pushed Tomic though. Just watching the Aussie Duckworth, He has been out there for 4 and a half hours in terrible heat, He is cramping badly, What a champ, Hope he can win it. Edit: Dam that was a good game between Duckworth and the other player(Cant remember his name), Not normally a tennis fan but that was pushing each other's body to the limit, It's a shame Duckworth could not go on for the win, But great fight from both player's, Really enjoyed that match.

Tomic put up a good show tonight. The scoreboard doesn't exactly reflect this though. He met him on most occasions with heavy baseline shots - but Federer was at his brilliant best, so not much he could do. Seems like he can really make an impression on the top 10 this year

This Wawrinka is pretty impressive. I thought he had potential a couple of years back but just needed more refinement and consistency (and maybe a little bit of Swiss/Federer influence ) to really challenge the big names. Djokovic is vulnerable tonight.

Djokovic wins.
Great game from Wawrinka though.
In the end his greatest weapon, the backhand, failed him.

Agree it was a top game. Made it hard getting out of bed this morning though, 5 hours and Djoker didn't even look like he had raised a serious sweat.

Usually have not much more than a passing interest in tennis, but that was an awesome game Djokovic & Warwrinka - neither deserved to lose.
And I've seen Henri Leconte play the jester here at Memorial Drive before in the lead up to the Aus Open, but have never heard him commentate before. He is quite a character.

I watched Leconte yesterday. He is a clown haha. Walked on court, and made it look like he accidentally tripped over the net and went arse over tit. Funny match.
Fed was sublime tonight.
