I had a Mahindra parked next to me when when I was away on the North Coast, bloody ugly! I guess that's why they have to sponsor and advertise in v8s as obviously word of mouth isn't helping their sales!

Shame, it's going to him!! Nah his alright...brings me back to the days when I used to watch him go around in commodore cup on speedweek But Geoff Emery hasn't really went too well in the Dunlop Series as to date, but just maybe this will be the car that brings him to the front?

Nah his alright...brings me back to the days when I used to watch him go around in commodore cup on speedweek But Geoff Emery hasn't really went too well in the Dunlop Series as to date, but just maybe this will be the car that brings him to the front? He did alright last round...got a solid top 10 in the last race I think. And his poor showing before that might just be down to the age and quality of his equipment not being on his side, not to mention that being connected to the 3 main V8 teams. But next year should be a different story with the new car and 888 support...hope he does well

More encouraging news for the 2013 season with Evans Motorsport Group set to be taking over one of the existing Dunlop Series teams and at the same time, he will be armed with 2 FPR built falcons.
BREAKING: FPR-Built Falcons For Formula Ford Team
MELBOURNE-BASED Formula Ford team Evans Motorsport Group will make the step up into the Dunlop Series in 2013.
The team has secured a pair of Ford Performance Racing-built Falcons currently competing in the V8 Supercars Championship – and is in the final stages of negotiating a takeover of a current, well-established Dunlop Series team.
Team principal Josh Evans, who has experience with Sonic Motor Racing, Ralt and Alan Docking Racing prior to starting up his own team a few years ago, announced the news today exclusively to BigPond Sport this morning.
Evans Motorsport Group will also receive technical support and current-spec engines from the factory Ford team.
“To have secured the best cars available and to have support and backup from FPR is going to shorten our learning curve considerably,” says Evans.
"We'll enter our inaugural season in the Dunlop Series with first class equipment at our disposal – it's looking like being a tremendous year for us.
"We've entered into an agreement with FPR and it's our aim to build on this relationship in the coming years.
"Our Formula Ford program has always been about developing young talent so it would be fantastic for somebody who we brought through Formula Ford to move into the Dunlop Series with us and then move into the factory team.
"If all goes smoothly we should have the takeover finalised within the next couple of weeks.
"Things are at a critical stage but they're all going according to plan, we hope to be able to make an announcement in the near future.
"We'll be running at least two cars in the Dunlop Series and three or four Formula Fords in 2013 so it's going to be a busy time for us all."
FPR Managing Director Tim Edwards confirmed the agreement adding that he would be keeping an eye on the new talent coming through the Evans Motorsport Group program.
"Josh has done a fantastic job of bringing some great talent out of karting and into Formula Ford," Edwards said.
"We'll have a close working relationship with Josh and his team so that will only help us when it comes to identifying the next group of drivers coming through the ranks.
"It's a great challenge but we're ready for it."

Pither looking for a development ride. He's armed with Ice Break money too that he is bringing over from his former ute ride. He's saying his a chance with BJR with them maybe keeping one of their cars but I thought Andrew Jones was tied up somewhere with that...but it would be good to see Pither get a start. m.speedcafe.com/2012/12/06/pither-eyes-development-series-return-in-2013/
