I'm not going to say Essendon were robbed but they deserved to win IMO.

How long until cricket is back? Thought Geelong would beat Brisbane by more than 3 goals good effort for Brisbane.

Since when did they have the names on the back of the jerseys? Looks pretty bad IMO also lol if the tigers lose to the lions

also lol if the tigers lose to the lions They looked ok until half time, Then Richmond run over the top of them(Which is bad as Richmond don't look much), Brisbane are in for a real tough year with the list they have and a very green coach.

Three pretty strange results yesterday -
firstly, swans beating freo. I wasn't expecting that
Port over West Coast at subiaco - again didn't expect that but shows Port might be a top 4 chance
And St Kilda over Essendon when Essendon I think were such short odds to win despite both teams being on the same points on the ladder. St Kilda have seemed to really have turned things around for this season.

Swans beating Freo in Sydney is not a huge surprise IMO.
Port beating Weagles was also not a surprise, Port have some very good talent with few to nearly no injuries and unreal fitness, Where the Weagles had a few big players out and are still getting used to the new coach.
Will be interesting to see how Port back the trip West up against Geelong next week in Adelaide?
St Kilda was a massive upset, I just think that Essendon having had to play in Perth last week in 36 degree heat took its toll?
The same thing happened when we played St Kilda last week, We smashed them and they had play in Perth the week before.
Beware the week after travelling to Perth maybe?

Will be interesting to see how Port back the trip West up against Geelong next week in Adelaide? I watched a couple of quarters of a game between Port and the Lions at the new Adelaide Oval. But dimension wise how does it compare to football park? Is it wider? Longer?

The Gold Coast tracksuit colours remind me of the old SA state colours...maybe GC should have protested also about the crows proposed use of the SA colours during heritage round against Port

The new dimensions have been said to be very similar to Simmonds Stadium IIRC, So I don't think that will be a problem, The Port feral crowd spitting on the Geelong players could be hard to deal with though Either way go Catters against them

Cats were comprehensively outplayed after the 1st quarter. Promising game for J Walker though

I hope that Sando lets him play this weekend, He could just as easily re injure himself in the reserves so just play him in the AFL, It is the perfect return when you consider it is only Melbourne we are playing (no disrespect for Melbourne but they are down the bottom), He looks fitter than he was before he did his knee.

He's played a week in the reserves...time to play in the main game IMO too.
