Just like their 'hole' in the floor idea, seems the FIA has a penchant for stifling Red bull's innovation... So they should ! ;D

- Can't see it hampering RBR, but I would love it if it did!! - can't see Massa leaving IMO, I'd like to see him stay, One last year!!! If not then Perez, then Vettel for the year after. - as for Hamilton, can't see him joining Ferrari, so he might aswell stay at that shonky team!

Really I would have thought that you would be solely gunning for Perez as Massa has had his shot and largely failed...but if you want Massa to stay on I guess I am happy with that as it's like JNR and DJR, its one less Ferrari I have to think about

Yeah he's been useless, but if Perez didn't sign then who? and whether there is truth to to the rumour of Vettel coming to Ferrari in 2014 and whether that may sway Perez's decision knowing he's going to be without a drive for the year after ... But in saying that if Massa was to get let go, then I'd be happy with the Deciosion if Perez comes onboard.

This will be a hard one for Perez, he will no doubt have a secure seat at Sauber, but if he leaves to Ferrari gets showed up convincingly by Alonso (which isn't hard to do) and has a bad year, then gets dumped for Vettel by Ferrari, Will Sauber offer him another drive there? Or will he be left out to dry and ruin his career by going to a backmarker?

Yeah he has got a bit of a bunny as his team-mate atm at Sauber in Kobayashi...but he also should be well aware of what sort of boost to a career that driving for Ferrari does for you even if you lose to Alonso as everyone knows just how good a driver Alonso is...I guess it might be more of, if Perez does go to Ferrari, of limiting the 'deficit in performance' damage that would probably occur with Alonso as his team-mate...

Speaking about Heikki Kovalainen...he appears to be the key pawn to all this driver movement for next year as he is being linked to the sauber race seat as a replacement for either Perez (presumably if he goes to Ferrari) or Kobayashi (although I can't really see him going anywhere)...but hasn't ruled out WRC either! www.planet-f1.com/driver/18227/7938417/Heikki-in-no-rush-to-decide-his-future

'20 grands prix in 2013'The 2013 Formula One calendar will continue to include 20 races, the sport's commercial ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone said on Saturday. "It's 20 races," said Ecclestone. "All the same more or less." It is expected the season will start in Australia on March 17 and end in Brazil. The calendar may include races in the United States at Austin, Texas, and New Jersey, but Ecclestone was unable to confirm any dates for them. He told Autosport.com that talks were continuing with the Nurburgring to try and resolve financial issues that have caused problems for the German circuit. "We are talking to them, so will see. We need to keep the German race -so we have to do the best we can. We will try and save it, but I don't think the property is for sale," he said When asked what would happen if the Nurburgring's difficulties meant the 2013 race could not go ahead, Ecclestone said: "We will be at Hockenheim." www.planet-f1.com/driver/18227/7945802/-20-grands-prix-in-2013-

They were told this at Canada to change the ride height mechanism by the FIA, so if they are indeed doing this illegally...then I'd like to see what happens. but IMO everyone tries to find things wrong with rivals cars, it's just all innuendo unless I see a report from the FIA then I'll believe it, but nervous times ahead if it's true.

Touche...after tonight it would be a good move for ferrari. Kimi won't join, as for Button...no thanks. Remember Button was linked and actually offered a drive from Ferrari but decided to stay at McLaren, so he can go jam it!

Kimi on Ferrari: You never know Sunday 29th July 2012 Kimi Raikkonen has added more fuel to rumours linking him with a move to Ferrari, saying "you never know what happens in the future". The Finn, who won the 2007 World Championship with the team before leaving at the end of the 2009 season, is rumoured to be wanted back by the Maranello squad as a replacement for Felipe Massa for 2013. While Ferrari have dismissed the speculation as "rubbish", Raikkonen has decided to remain coy about the possibility of returning to the Italian stable. Asked if he would consider a move back, the 32-year-old answered: "I always said that I have no bad feelings and I had a good time with the team. I won one Championship there." Raikkonen, who returned to F1 this year following a couple of years in the World Rally Championship, insists he is happy with his role at Lotus, but again he didn't rule out a move to Ferrari completely. "You never know what happens in the future," he said. "I am happy where I am right now. Things going pretty nicely. Plenty of updates in Ferrari pipeline Saturday 4th August 2012 Ferrari will introduce a few "interesting developments" to the F2012 at the Belgian Grand Prix. After dominating at Valencia, Silverstone and Hockenheim, Ferrari were slightly off the boil in Budapest with Fernando Alonso only managing to finish fifth after qualifying in P6. The Spaniard admitted afterwards that the lack of development cost the team and Technical Director Pat Fry says they learned a few lessons from their disappointment in Hungary. "It's true we had a handful of parts that did not work the way we had expected: there's always a chance that can happen in work like this," Fry told Scuderia Ferrari Racing News. "The positive aspect is that we understood the problem and everything is alright now: that way, we can use this experience to move forward rather than being left confused about it. In fact, we have a clear idea on the direction we need to take and we have already begun to work in this direction." Ferrari, though, will step up when it comes to development ahead of the race at Spa at the start of September. "We have a few interesting developments that we will introduce at Spa, a track which, from an aerodynamic downforce point of view, is quite special, as indeed is Monza," he said. "In fact, we will also have an aerodynamic and engine package specifically suited to the Italian track. Therefore a lot of work has been done, but there is still also a lot to do: we must continue to keep up the pressure to a high level." He added: "We have developed a few small parts for Spa in the wind tunnel, while also concentrating on other updates for Singapore." www.planetf1.com/news/3213/7961844/Plenty-Of-Updates-In-Pipeline-For-Ferrari

Poor old Shumi, He is having a shocker. ----------------------------- FIA race director Charlie Whiting has criticised Michael Schumacher for his error on the grid in Hungary. The Mercedes driver stalled his engine after lining up on the wrong spot on the grid. Normal procedures call for another formation lap to take place in such an event, a rule that came into place in 2005. However, Schumacher appears not to have realised this and turned off his engine and as a result had to be pushed to the pits by the marshals. Whiting believes that the German really should have known better. "Michael should know the rules," Whiting is quoted as telling Bild am Sonntag. The Briton also revealed that drivers do not need to take a rule test prior to the season, with the FIA taking it as a given that they will know them. "We assume that a team competing in Formula One knows the rules. It is the responsibility of the teams to ensure that its drivers - its employees - know the rules," he said. www.planetf1.com/driver/18227/7969895/Whiting-Schumi-must-learn-the-rules
