There is too many of them as it is!! ;D More Queenslanders I say...heard that Khawaja has scored a few runs so far I think the selectors should look at SA players, We have a brown paper bag under the table ;D With an enemy player as their captain, I don't blame the selectors for not looking at them! ;D

Because Wrighty wanted him! ;D Wrighty was Wrongy Bloody Victorians Quiney had a great shield record last year. And he played well in the Aus A game where the others failed. Unfortunately he's not up to it. As weird as this sounds I'd love Khawaja and Hughes to not get another chance this summer. I want the days back when 1000's of runs get you a gig. I rate Khwaja long term. Just needs to be handled correctly. I also think you can't have Hughes in the same test side as Warner.

Hughes isn't even a look in with Warner and Cowan scoring runs so far this series...Khawaja has to be considered for the 3rd test...ponting will get a reprieve but Quiney will be sacrificed.

It will be interesting to see how some of the crows players handle facing Lee Wonder if Crikey is feeling nervous for them Game is very much in the balance atm, probably give the advantage to Australia though

It's unlucky for Pattinson as the injury rules him out of the rest of the summer.

Shattered for Patto, he just can't get his body right.
Surely they play Stark ahead of Johnson. Until Johnson can bowl consistent seam up stuff, I don't want that headcase anywhere near the Australian team.

Johnson should play.
Quiney looks gone, feel for the guy, because putting him straight into No.3 isn't where he should be starting his test career, too harsh on CA.

Nail-biting finish on the cards at the Adelaide Oval. About 30 mins to go and 3 wickets to get. This is going to be good.

Well some of our worst nightmares came true today as Mitchell Johnson was named in the 14 man squad for the test in Perth starting this Friday. Quiney has been dropped, quite rightly too with Watson included. Josh Hazlewood has also been included as a possible replacement for Pattinson. I guess we can be rest assured that Starc is still favourite to replace Pattinson in the first XI. The other problem I see with Pattinson breaking down is that it gives a 'free pass' to Hilfenhaus as without Pattinson's injury, serious questions would have been asked whether Hilfenhaus would carry the drinks. I would like to see both Hazlewood and Starc play in Perth as Hilfenhaus looks too pedestrian and predictable. www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/cricket/mitchell-johnson-john-hastings-and-josh-hazlewood-added-to-australian-squad-for-perth-test/story-e6frey50-1226524464301

There are a few shield bowlers taking bags. Is it Putland from SA? And one Tassie bloke whose name escapes me has amazing figures.

Former NSW player of course...advanced studio's Bollinger bowled a pretty good spell today - dismissed test batting hopeful Khawaja on his way to a 4 for.

Wow...guess it's better that he quits rather than gets dumped - to have a proper send off, especially against worthy opposition, for a worthy cause to win the series and claim no. 1 in the world and at a ground where he first made his mark in international cricket with his 96 against Sri Lanka.

In other news for the match tomorrow, Siddle and Hilfenhaus will be rested and in comes Starc and you guessed it Johnson. We'll soon find out whether he has mended his erratic ways...the fight is on as to who will replace Pattinson with Hazlewood and Hastings being the two options - I haven't seen much of Hazlewood, but the few shield games that I have seen Hastings bowl, he doesn't look all that menacing...
